GroupUp
Mobile Application Concept: Google Design Challenge
GroupUp is a mobile application concept I developed that promotes student clubs and events on university and college campuses.
GroupUp focuses on providing users with a personalized feed that shows postings curated according to their field of study and personal interests. While GroupUp advertises clubs and events on campus, it also encourages students to form their own niche groups that may not exist yet. A feed dedicated to proposing new groups and advertising open spots in existing groups and events encourages unofficial clubs to flourish on campus. Overall, this app concept seeks to improve the student experience and encourage social interaction, personal growth, and engagement with university and college communities.
My Role

I was sole designer on this project, working through all design stages by myself. I conducted user research and analysis and developed low, medium, and high fidelity sketches and prototypes.
